Dr. Cristian Nitoiu, Co-Founder and Deputy Director of the Center for Foreign Policy and Security Studies (CFPSS), Senior Lecturer at Institute for Diplomac and International Governance, Loughborough London University. will deliver the keynote speech in the opening ceremony of the European Week at the ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’s University of Iasi. The event will take place on Friday 17 June 2019, from 9.50 am.
The talk will focus on Europe’s role in international relations in the age of multiple crisis. The emphasis is on how the foreign policy of the EU and its ability to shape world politics has been affected by crises such as Brexit, the Ukraine crisis or the migrant crisis. The talk will also explore the way Europe has responded to these crises, together its prospects for shaping the international agenda.
